The Great Strides Walk to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will be held Saturday, October 4th at Ballard Park in Tupelo. Registration is 9:30 with the walk taking place from 10:00am until Noon. A Benefit Bike Ride for Emmanuel Jones will be held October 11th. The ride will begin and end at First United Methodist Church on 2nd Avenue in Amory. Registration begins at 7:45 and the ride starts at 9:15. The fee is $15 for a single rider and $20 for a double rider. All proceeds benefit Emmanuel, who is currently receiving treatment from St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
